As an artist, my greatest inspiration comes from the CONNECTIONS between people. I am fascinated by the way we interact with one another, the stories we share, and the experiences we have in common. My work is a reflection of these connections, a celebration of the human experience and the energies that bind us together. And of course, there are connections between shapes with their own relationships and tensions.
Through my art, I strive to capture the emotions and experiences that make us human. I use a variety of media, including painting, photography, and encaustic, to explore the complexities of our relationships with one another and with the world. Whether I’m creating a street scene or an abstract, my goal is always to show the connections that exist between people and/or objects, and what connects us. When people view my art, they often find themselves connecting with it in unexpected ways. They see themselves and their own experiences reflected in the work, and to me, that connection that is truly special.
Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create work that celebrates our shared experiences and reminds us of the ties and energies that we have in common and bind us together. I believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, and create lasting connections between people, and I am honored to be a part of this rich and vibrant tradition.
