I am fascinated by how we interact with one another, the experiences we have in common, and how this translates to shapes and colors with their own relationships and tensions. My work is a reflection of these tensions, both physical and emotional.
I use various media, including painting, photography, and sometimes encaustic, to explore the complexities of our relationships with one another and the world. Some of my images blend photography and digital painting, printed out and enhanced by physical media. Whether I’m creating a street scene or an abstract, my goal is always to show the poetry in an image, manipulating media to create work that celebrates our shared experiences and emotions. I believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, and create lasting connections between people, and I am honored to be a part of this vibrant tradition.
