LOVING BOSTON
Boston is a lively, fiesty city, teeming with innovation as well as tradition, with contrasts as diverse as the seasons and the population. Once upon a time, my late husband, Dr. Jay Pivor, and I lived in Kendall Square and then in downtown Boston. Inspiration was everywhere! We had a website called LovingBoston.com, and we fed it with photos from our weekend city adventures as we explored. When he died of pancreatic cancer in 2017, I couldn’t face working on the site and took it down and moved out of the city. I have finally moved back to the Boston area and now find myself shooting photos again like a maniac. The city has exploded with new construction and shiny new buildings everywhere. The seaport has sprung from empty warehouses and vacant lots. Same with Kendall Square. Here are a few of my old as well as some new photos.
I dedicate this page, along with all of my photos, to him. He shot the photo above of the Charles River.
Please enjoy this mini gallery.
